Lyft presents: 'Two is Too Few,' a rooftop LGBTQ+ Pride party
Following Charlotte’s Pride week, on Sunday, August 25, Lyft will host a clothing donation event in honor of Charlotte’s LGBTQ+ community on the rooftop of Nuvolé Rooftop TwentyTwo. Admission is FREE -- but attendees will need to bring two items of new or gently-used clothing to gain entry. New and gently-used shirts/tops, pants, skirts, dresses and jackets/sweaters ONLY will be accepted. Hard-to-find sizes (smaller men sizes and larger women sizes) are particularly welcome. All donations will go to Transcend Charlotte’s TransCloset. Partygoers will enjoy two complimentary beverages (including a special Lyft “Rainbow Ride” cocktail) and light bites. Onya Nerves will host the festivities, including a drag show and carpool lip synch battle with prizes, and DJ Little Betty will be spinning. All guests will receive $20 in Lyft credits and a Lyft Zine. Additionally, the first 100 guests will receive a year-long membership and premium swag from the Human Rights Campaign. RSVP is not required but highly encouraged.
