The Race to the Taste 5K, presented by Truliant Federal Credit Union, will start and finish at the Taste of Charlotte Festival in beautiful uptown Charlotte! Runners can participate in the traditional full course 5k or can enjoy a lighter menu of the 1-mile Cupcake Run/Walk. Start Times: 5K Race begins at 9:00 Cupcake 1 Mile Run/Walk begins at 9:45 Race After-Party: Located in the Tavern at the Taste, the Race after-party is the place to relax, listen to live music and have cupcakes & Corona Premier while awards are given out. Making the race more appetizing, all Runners of the 5K will receive a premium race shirt, discounts from Taste of Charlotte Restaurant locations, and an awesome swag bag which includes fun gifts and a Taste of Charlotte Super Coin that can be used to purchase any food item from any of the participating restaurants at the festival over the three-day weekend. Taste of Charlotte once again will partner with the Charlotte Checkers Charitable Foundation for the race and a donation will be made from the proceeds. The Checkers will be onsite with Chubby and the Checkmates to help cheer on the runners! |
