Drove a total of 6 hours from Charleston to get tattooed by Mickey Putts at Charlotte tattoo co and it was totally worth it. Mickey is an incredible artist and just an all around good dude. Hes friendly, will work with you on your design every step of the way, offer suggestions and solutions to get you the best tattoo possible. Hes also very fast and not heavy handed. Mickey was able to give me what would normally be a 5 hour tattoo by anyone else in just 3 hours. Pain was minimal and reflects his knowledge and abilities as a top tier tattooer. I will absolutely be going to him to get my other shin done and cant wait. Thanks again Mickey for the great tattoo and positive experience

I was in town traveling from Ohio and decided i wanted to get a tattoo. After looking around and not being successful with the shops on the side of town i was staying on i decided to drive across town to this shop because they were more than happy to take me and 2 of my friends as walk-ins. Jason and the lady at the front desk were so welcoming and very helpful with helping us decide what we wanted. The pricing was very reasonable and Jason who has been tattooing for almost 30 years made my experience by far the best Ive had. He made us feel very comfortable, we had amazing conversations, and he was fast. I 10/10 highly highly recommend him.

It has been way too long since I got a little ink therapy and today was the perfect day. As always Billy was amazing in his work and had great conversation. As long as he is doing tattoos in the Charlotte area I will not go to another artist. His whole team is great and can't wait to return.

I was tattooed by Anna (@hoodlum_tattoo) about a month ago and it was one of the best tattoo experiences Ive had. She took the time to make sure she understood my vision and was willing to provide her own creative input where I needed it. She was so patient, even drawing up a new design aspect the day of, and made me feel so comfortable. Her work had healed beautifully and it meshes so well with my other tattoos. I cannot recommend her enough.
