After 2020 and the beginning of 2021, I wasn't sure there was anything that could brighten my days. That all changed the day I started taking classes at CATCh. Even though I started out absolutely terrified and never thought I could do improv, it has turned into one of my very favorite things. Every time I leave class, I leave with a huge smile on my face and with so much energy it's hard to fall asleep. It's that fun. I've also learned so many valuable skills that I use in my corporate job every day. This is better than any public speaking course or team building exercise I've been through. The confidence you learn is unmatched. If you're scared like I was, don't worry. The teachers at CATCh lead with empathy and compassion. They have created a safe place that is inclusive and not cutthroat at all. I've met so many cool new friends. And those are just the classes! I love spending Saturday nights laughing at the improv shows! There are so many talented and hilarious performers, and I've enjoyed adding these shows to mix up my social life. Another plus- the theater is a quick walk from popular spots like Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and Queen Park Social, if you want to grab pre or post drinks! Hope to see you soon at CATCh!

I recently took acting 101 at CATCH and what a ride! Kevins teaching style is knowledgeable, supportive, encouraging and just fun and silly! I had such a great time and it makes me want to be bolder out there in the world and on stage! And I hope to see my classmates out in the wild performing one day!

SENSATIONAL. PASSIONATE. SURREAL. These, are words, but more specifically, adjectives. Ah yes those things from middle school. Well these adjectives are among the many that have been handselected to desecribe the CATCh experience. Don't like our choices? Well tough whooper nuggets. Anyway, upon entering the soothing establishment, Rebethany was quick to assist in seating us. Our despair was elevated immediately as the dreadful thought of finding our own seating was removed from existence. Following our seating, we were quickly greeted by our next chair companion Estelle, a lovely old woman whom was hosting a slight lingering odor of boiled pasta that night. She was not shy about sharing the steamed potatoes she snuck in. We appreciated the gratuitous gesture Estelle but for the eighth time, no thank you. The humorous one act show presented by the troop of actors was more than expected. The actors delivered remarkable storytelling with beats of emotion that even we could not contain any longer. It had been six summers and eleven winters since tears were shed during a performance. We sincerely thank you CATCh for helping us release our trapped emotions. I told you therapy wasn't what I was needing mom, now off to argue with my therapist for my money back. It is with a strong recommendation that this camp of comedians are worth a visit to see. While we depart from each other momentarily, CATCh, this isn't goodbye. To our suggestion, no CATCh visit is complete without asking a deep question to its director, the man who brings it all home. Search, far and wide if you must but leave being sure that you have found Kevin and you have asked him how he is doing about his whole parrot situation. One must find the fearsome, yet friendly-faced, Kevin immediately and ask in urgency about the dreadful parrots. Oh the parrots! Why the parrots!! - Fin of review -

Just finished level 1 improv and had such an amazing experience! I would encourage anyone, even if you are shy, to take this class. So welcoming and you are guaranteed a great laugh every night. Abby is amazing and was such a joy to have as an instructor!

Can't say enough good things about Catch. Always funny, always welcoming. Charlotte is lucky to have this community
