I am a Charlotte wedding photographer and had the pleasure of working with the McGill Rose Garden for several events! The garden is the most intimate and unique space to host your wedding. From the flowers, greenery and string lights, the naturally decorated environment is hard to pass up. The ceremony and reception space is picture perfect ... literally :) Also, there are so many spots to take wedding party, family and couple portraits. Plus, the event team is amazing to work with!! McGill Rose Garden will always be a favorite!

Not just weddings and events. This is a GREAT oasis to hang out with friends enjoying a beautiful hidden garden and live music. They sell wine if you are interested. The whole garden is well maintained without being overly maintained. They have nestled quaint sitting areas throughout so it feels just like you are hanging out in your own garden. Bring take out, a book, friends, or your pet and enjoy this beautiful space. I think this is the most underrated place in Charlotte. I'm soooooo happy we stumbled upon this unassuming venue. Make sure to check it out. Also, walk a few blocks to Pelican's Snowballs for the best shaved ice around (over 100 flavors).

My wife and I had the our ceremony and wedding reception here and couldnt be happier! The garden is a little urban oasis right outside of Uptown Charlotte in the Noda neighborhood. This is exactly what we had in mind when we got engaged. The staffs organization and planning is one of the many reasons that our wedding day was the best day of our lives. Kelvin and Ashlynn were very helpful and assertive. It felt as if the team would identify and solve problems before they would arise. Kelvin and Ashlynn really gave my wife and I % confidence in the staffs coordinating abilities. The bar staff was awesome! All of our drinks were made exactly how we had imagined. Although as the groom all of my drinks brought to me all of my friends and family members mentioned how helpful they were and how quick they got their drinks! I can say that we any time that my wife and I are in Charlotte we will hopefully be visiting the Rose Gardens. We would also recommend to anyone considering getting married here to save your date!

Not terribly large, but very fun to walk around. If you want a neatly manicured English garden, this place is not your scene. The vibe is a lot more of a tangled jungle. Portions are not well kept up, but that makes it feel more adventuresome and wild. Seems like it would be a lovely place for an event or a wedding.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem during a walk while visiting Charlotte and decided to go in. It was so pretty and I loved that they offered plenty of coffee and tea options along with their wine and beer selection. Wished they would've had more pastries, but came late in the day so it could be that. The garden has so many great places to sit and it smells lovely. The inside of the shop is cute too. I'd definitely visit again, it was unique and relaxing.
