There's a lot of good restaurants and shops at Baxter Village. Cupcrazed and Lucky Duck are a couple of favorites. We were here most recently to enjoy the trail system. There's several trails that go throughout Baxter Village. The Carolina Thread Trail also has a segment here which is what we did. We parked at the library and hiked to the Catawba River. It was about 5.5 miles round-trip and pretty flat/easy. It's a pretty nice trail that goes through several neighborhoods, but it's still pretty secluded. We went early in the morning which meant that it wasn't crowded either. It was a nice option for a different trail close to us.

I travel from Rock Hill to Baxter Village frequently throughout the week. There is so much to do here, and it's a great place to bring the family just to have a good time out of the house. My wife and I always come to Starbucks, which always has cold brew, and we love the British style restaurant that is also here. During the afternoons we will take the kids to the park as well and be there for hours when it's a beautiful day in the weather permits. All in all, there is something for everyone here oh, and if you actually live here in one of the Lofts or apartments, I'm sure it is amazing. Again, just wanted to say thank you for the environment here that my family and I have come to love ever since we moved to York County over 10 years ago.

Great place to catch a meal/eat ice cream and go on a stroll with the family and dog. They have a small park with a fountain. Reminds me of small veterans parks we have around Maryland. Safe and they have a Starbucks too. They also have a cupcake store that participated on the Food Network.

I live in Tega Cay, within Fort Mill SC, but I come to walk in Baxter Village nearly every day. The houses are so beautiful; most have full-length porches. Each one is different of course, but I marvel at how each one and how they're set up and decorated. A lot have more than one 'ceiling' fan, and some have hanging lanterns. Some have bench swings, hammocks, netting to keep the bugs out and of course very decorative tables and chairs. It's peaceful here; lots of chirping birds and everyone is so friendly. I wish I could live here! True Southern flavor!
