Good Earth Essentials

I stop in every other month to refill my body wash here (and eventually will begin to purchase refills for shampoo and conditioner, once my current stock is depleted), and it's such a quick and easy errand. I love that you can either take the light rail or park for free in the garage above. It seems like they are always bringing in new interesting stock, which makes each visit unique. I do hope that they are able to find more economical refill options one day, as it can get pretty expensive (this jar costs about $16 to fill, which is significantly more than I might spend for a new bottle at the drugstore) and I think the biggest way to create an environmental impact is by making a low-waste lifestyle accessible to all.

Super cute store! All natural products. Wandered in while walking in the neighborhood and so glad I did! Lots of unique candles, teas, beauty products & trinkets. Just a nice vibe and really pleasant staff.

I love stopping in at GEE, whether to try out a new sustainable product, or to refill ones Im already using. The environment is rejuvenating, the owner and employees are kind and engaging, and the products are worth every penny.

Love this little shop! The concept is amazing & I wish there were more stores following a refill and low-waste model. We live in the West Lake Norman area but anytime we head into uptown I try to stop in - especially if I have something we need refilling on at the time. The location in 7th St Market is great too! The kids love to go with me & watch the trains come in & take off + there are several places to grab a bite to eat. You can get so much more out of your trip to her shop with this prime location.
