Seven Jars Products

I jumped at the opportunity to take the distilling class that Seven Jars held last week. My wife and I own a restaurant in Fayetteville, and I run the bar. Distilling our own spirits would require legal hurdles that we aren't ready to do, but I like to know where our products come from. For someone looking to start a distillery or for those just curious like I was, the class was a blast. Scott, the owner does the classroom portion, which includes going over everything from getting started with the required permits, to labels, and yes distilling. North Carolina has a rich history of making spirits, legally and a little less legal. You get a history lesson of Seven Jars, and the impact they had in Charlotte. The hands on portion was definitely appreciated, and showed how our favorite spirits are made from start to finish. Be ready to get your hands dirty! The entire team is extremely knowledgeable, and answered any questions that I had. They all made me feel welcome from the second I walked in. Don't hesitate to sign up for the next class if you have interest in distilling spirits!

We had an excellent time at the Whiskey Steward certification class. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and I feel like I could have spent another 3 hours just sitting and chatting with them about whiskey and bourbon! Will definitely visit again.

The history is interesting and rich, the wines and liquors are delicious. The tasting was light and informative, but in a fun way. I'm going to have to purchase my wine from here exclusively!

Did the wine plus whiskey tasting. Weeb and Baron were a delight to interact with through the tastings. Enjoyed Baron's discussion of history behind the distillery and the tour of production area. Weeb had great knowledge of wines which spanned a wide spectrum.
