Charlotte Celebrates National Pizza Month with FUEL Pizza Photo Contest

Win pizza for a year by sharing your love for FUEL Pizza

CHARLOTTE, N.C.  (Oct. 20, 2014) – The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) is partnering with FUEL Pizza to celebrate National Pizza Month with a Post Your Pizza photo contest for the chance to win free pizza for a year.

Pizza lovers can stop by any of the participating FUEL Pizza locations and post creative and fun photos that include FUEL pizza and/or the FUEL pizza box on social channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with #charlottesgotalot.

Here's how the contest works:
1. Visit a local Charlotte FUEL Pizza restaurant.
2. Take a super creative, funny, cool, saucy photo of or with your FUEL pizza and/or the pizza box. Which toppings satisfy your pizza cravings? Do you like to picnic with your pizza? Do you fold your slice to eat it? Show us!
3. Hashtag ‪#‎charlottesgotalot (you can also tag ‪#‎FuelPizza, but this will not affect your chances of winning).
4. Cross (and lick) your fingers.

The contest will run through Oct. 31, and the winner will be chosen based on the creativity of their photos. The winner will receive a voucher for FUEL pizza for a year, which can be redeemed for one large FUEL pizza per month for 12 months (a total of 12 large FUEL pizzas).

Check out the scoop on the citywide pizza scene with nine best bets in the latest edition of Charlotte Happenings, currently found at Charlotte-area Harris Teeters, Food Lions and magazine racks in Center City. From the umami at Mellow Mushroom to the t-rex at Pure Pizza in 7th Street Public Market, Charlotte's got a pie to please everyone.

About FUEL Pizza
zza got jump started in 1998 by a few guys from New York that craved really good pizza but couldn’t find a slice anywhere in Charlotte. They needed REAL pizza made with the finest mozzarella, vine-ripened tomatoes and the highest-quality fresh ingredients. Unable to find the perfect pizza, they decided to do it themselves. Fortunately, they found a funky 1930s gas station on Central Avenue and FUEL Pizza was born.
