JJ's Red Hots
JJ’s Red Hots has been a family-friendly hot dog staple in Charlotte since 2012.
Known for their delicious hot dogs, sausages, and house made toppings, JJ’s goes above and beyond when it comes to creating exciting flavor combinations with the American classic dish.
Jonathan Luther, co-founder of JJ’s Red Hots, has always had a focus on toppings, especially when first launching their Dogs of the Week campaign. If you’re looking to step up your toppings for your next summer cookout, try his Aunt Dorothy’s famous Sweet Chili Sauce. The part-relish, part-salsa creation is both sweet and savory, and a nice touch to hot dogs, sausages, and even hamburgers.

- Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, approximately 2 to 3 hours.
- Add cider vinegar, adjust to taste.
- Use an immersion blender to blend until consistency is a thick salsa.
