Eddie, Greyson and Bobby were AMAZING! They were so nice and they made sure all of our requests and accommodations were met. Fast service and super friendly! Absolutely recommend!!
Great service from Greyson! So nice and helpful!Drinks were phenomenal! Food was amazing too!
Blacks have a different set of rules to follow at Cloud Bar: My friends and I visited Cloud Bar on Saturday evening, all black and fairly large group (8-12). After being seated long enough to receive drinks and order food our waitress came out with who I am assuming was a manger & asked for 1 card to hold for collateral. While someone did pass over their card we thought this was strange for a restaurant to ask us for well after we had been seated. We asked another large party of white people if they had been given the same request. They were confused, shocked, and said no. After confronting the staff to see if this was company policy we were immediately given the card we provided them back. The waitress came out alone and apologized but no further contact from the manager who gave the request. We also then were given a new waitress? This is not my first time here with a group larger than 6. How does it look to only ask the table of black men and women for a card to hold as a collateral & above all how is that supposed to make a group of guests feel? Its a rooftop bar where the only exit is to walk past all staff at the bar. Were we going to dine and dash by flying away 18 floors up?
Greyson, Bobby and Eddie are absolutely phenomenal. Fantastic service and even greater personalities!
First off other reviews voiced concerns with the service which made me wary but I went two weeks ago and the service was fine. We came early to avoid rush time. For a bar on the 18th floor of a nice hotel you have certain expectations. For one, higher prices than a normal bar. That's fine it's expected. One would also expect decent food, drinks and plating. I would say Cloud Bar falls short on this. Was not expecting plastic forks and plates at this price range and my friends plastic plate came a little dirty and she had to wipe it off. The food came out cold which can be expected during the current staffing issue going around but it wasn't too busy when we came. I don't mind cold pizza but overall the food we got was highly priced but not that great just ok. The cocktails were average as well which is sad when you compare that fact to their prices. After one I just got a Heineken and enjoyed that more. They boast a 360 degree view but you only the cityline view is worth looking at and there's many seating towards that side. Also most seats were right next to very loud speakers. I can say I did have fun here but that's more indicative of the people I went with rather than the bar. It was definitely nice to see the view and take pictures once but I'd recommend Aura for a good rooftop experience even if it's not as high up.
