Excellent well-crafted drinks. Large drink menu with excellent prices - $14 each. Small snack menu, but good portions based on cost $6-$9. Not many seats/tables inside, so recommend to come early. Ample parking in the back of the building. Will absolutely be back.

Phenomenal new, sleek, modern cocktail bar! The atmosphere is very cozy, relaxing, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the cocktails are some of the best Ive had in Charlotte! These are craft cocktails, they take time to create, but are well worth the wait. Highly recommend Coffee For Closers and The Cure For Pain. If you're looking for some of the best cocktails that Charlotte has to offer, look no further, Humbug is where you want to be.

Friend and I had a good time here on a Saturday night. We were confused as to why they have the door locked and seating assignments as they do, but when you consider the area is still a work in progress and that the cocktail bar is intended to be seating only, it makes sense. I had a Thundercat, which was practically a dessert cocktail. My friend had a Gin and Tonic. The metal straw in his Gin and Tonic we felt was a nice touch. Drinks were better than most places in Charlotte but not our favorite either. We were sat at one of the tables, but next time wed probably wait for a bar seat to open up. Servers were friendly. Water was served warm, which was weird with our cold cocktails. Im not sure what vibe theyre going for, but the dim lighting and the blinding candle lights at the tables felt conflicting. Pros and cons aside, its a cool spot. Id probably visit again, but it wouldnt be a first choice.

So thankful that Humbug is now permanently open! I will happily make the drive from South Charlotte to have Andy and Larrys amazing cocktails. The team is great. The decor/lighting/music are all perfect. Another very needed and welcome addition to the craft cocktail community here in Charlotte!

I was highly anticipating the opening of this bar. I frequented the pop up the owners had on Central. I'm sure the bigger place will be more profitable for the owners but I like Humbug better as a pop up. It lost its quaint appeal but they did a good job creating a more spacious place that more people can enjoy. It's definitely worth checking out.
