Marlee Jean's Raw Bar & Kitchen
A Girl on Google Maps
Last night at Marlee Jean's Raw Bar & Kitchen! Did you know they offer much more than just raw bar seafood items? Amanda and her team truly wowed us. We started with oysters trust me, youll want to try a variety. The Hamachi Crudo with crumbled pistachio in that vibrant sauce was incredible. Pete especially loved it! We also tried the Wagyu meatballs (a lamb and pork blend), and they were huge, along with the Maryland-style crab cake absolutely delicious. My personal favorite was the Ahi tuna wontons. That flavor, the fresh chunks of tuna so good! And the Prime Rib Panini was exactly what I needed after a long day melted, savory goodness. A big shoutout to the hostesses, who were quick to help and incredibly welcoming. Chef Fili even came out to say hello clearly talented and passionate about the food being served. The Prosciutto Pear Flatbread was beautiful and reminded me of a trip to Italy. Ashley, working the raw bar, was focused, skilled, and amazing at her job. I didnt catch the name of another team member who brought out our food, but thank you to the entire staff for going above and beyond. And oh yes, Britt, the bartender next door at King Canary Brewing Company, paired our culinary adventure perfectly with a Little Wing brew and a ginger beer with a twist of lime. Next visit, we have to try the lobster roll. If you find yourself in the Town of Davidson, put this spot into your Google Maps and go. The outdoor seating is popular & they will bring what you order to your table. Be sure to order several dishes and share thats the best way to experience it all. Happy exploring, Josephine Local

This is the kind of restaurant that you are shocked how good the food is. This chef driven restaurant is tucked in a brewery and you order with the cashier, let me suggest order everything. We tried a couple of menu items, my favorites were the crudo, carpaccio, raw oysters and a special of his mom's lasagna. We had a great meal. Sometimes breweries have terrible wine options, the brewery side has a small list with decent wines. If you are in Davidson, be sure to visit this local favorite.

Best crab cake Ive had since moving to NC almost 10 years ago! If youre used to the quality and taste of a true Maryland crab cake, look no further. Everything we had was delicious and of the utmost quality - which can be hard to find here sometimes if you lived for any length of time near a larger NE city.

Love Marlee jeans! They have the cleanest oysters and everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend stopping by if youre in the Davidson area.

What an absolute delight this place is. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and served personally by the owner herself - and what a joy that was. Her energy, enthusiasm, and genuine care for every guest were infectious. You can instantly tell this isnt just a business to her; its her passion poured into every detail. The vibes are fantastic, warm, welcoming, and full of character. We loved sharing the King Canary room, which added such a fun and memorable touch to the evening. The food was outstanding. The burrata salad was creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced, while the flatbreads were made to perfection.. crispy, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. Every dish felt genuine and full of soul. This is exactly the kind of food business I love to support - one run by someone who is truly devoted to their craft and their guests. If you want exceptional food, wonderful service, and that rare feeling of being truly cared for, look no further. Well definitely be back. Highly, highly recommend.
