Haven't been to a Mellow Mushroom in years! We went to the Charlotte FC game and wanted to come earlier so we could eat before kickoff. The service was good for as busy as they were. Pizza was great and the new pizza egg roll things were pretty tasty. The pizza was a little on the greasy side but with the amount of cheese was on the pizza, it was understandable! We'll be back.

We were very disappointed with our experience. We ordered a veg pizza with vegan cheese for takeout and ended up waiting 34 minutes. After we had already waited about half an hour, we were told it would be another 5 minutes or that we could just get a refund. At that point, offering a refund didnt make sense we had already been waiting so long and just wanted our food. When we finally got the pizza, it was even more frustrating - all the vegetables looked completely raw. Overall, a really disappointing experience.

Outstanding experience at the Mellow Mushroom on MLK in Charlotte. Jarred delivered the kind of service every restaurant hopes for friendly, attentive, and effortlessly on point. He made the whole visit feel relaxed and welcoming, the kind of service where you feel like a regular even if its your first time walking in.The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and Jarreds approach genuinely elevated the entire meal. His level of service is the standard the franchise should be aiming for. Highly recommend this location.

The staff was super friendly. The veggie on the pizza was not fully cooked. For the time you wait for a pizza it needs to be to be cooked fully. Half raw veggies was disappointing but the dip was delicious.

In town for a Bills/Panthers game and just went to the Mellow Mushroom. The atmosphere was really cool, a mix of wacky and retro-futuristic. The staff was beyond great. Our waitress was on point the whole time we were there. And the manager stopped by and was super friendly. If you are in Charlotte you should definitely give this place a try.
