Dilworth Tasting Room - South Park
My wife and I came here on a busy Saturday night, without a reservation, and were seated immediately at a small table next to the bar. We were greeted promptly by our server Gethan and he talked us through the menus as it was our first time. We ordered a glass of wine and a cocktail. They were out of the wine we chose but one of the managers came over, apologized, and helped us select an alternative. We started with the Grilled Octopus and the Prosciutto and Brie Flatbread. Both dishes were very delicious and full of flavor. The octopus was cooked perfectly and the flatbread was crispy and had a great balance of sweet and salty. We followed up with an order of their Truffle Fries and Crispy Pork Belly. The fries were crispy and well seasoned and the pork belly was tender and everything a pork belly dish should be. Our table was very well attended to by our server and the managers. We also loved the decor of the restaurant and ambiance created by the lighting and music. Our overall experience was exceptional from start to finish. We will definitely be back for another date night very soon after having such a great first time experience.
Had a wonderful time at DTR. We went for drinks and apps. I had the bubble cocktail which is obviously super fun but also delicious!! We also did a charcuterie board which was phenomenal!! I cant wait til the weather is warmer and we can do more patio sipping! Highly recommend!
First time there and it wasnt a bad experience but wasnt a great one either which for the price you pay, it should be. As soon as you walk in it gives you a fancy vibe but once you sit its not. Our server wasnt the friendliest. Our appetizers plates and menus werent picked up when we were done with them. The music was too loud and only one bathroom for both men and women. Now as far as the food goes, the truffle fries were amazing but our main courses were a little too greasy. The drinks were very good. Again, it wasnt a terrible experience but I wouldnt go back.
Very good food, especially, when comparing to a lot of the nearby places (even the more expensive ones). Haven't been inside, but ordered take out 4 times in two weeks and food was consistently good, and the person taking the order was well mannered and pleasant to deal with. Wish there was a bit more options for to go desserts. Overall, a solid choice. Love their other location too.
The volume of background music makes people talk loudly, making this place very noisy. If I want to have to shout to my spouse, I'll go to a tavern on live music or karaoke night. It also has poor service. I won't be back to wait over 30 minutes for the charcuterie side which should have accompanied my wine flight, or the longer wait for the second of 2 small plates I ordered and this is on a Tuesday night, so good luck on a busy night. Let me be fair and say that both the wine and food were good.
