Lose yourself in the world of Afro Brazilian dance with UNC Charlotte visiting artists Dandha Da Hora and Dende. Explore rich cultural traditions with gifted and dedicated teachers as you learn the fundamentals of folkloric and Orixa-inspired dance, Samba Afro, and samba reggae, as well as other Brazilian dance styles. Classes will feature live drumming by Dende and local musicians. Dandha’s and Dende's classes are open to students of all levels and backgrounds. Be challenged and inspired by the rhythms of our ancestors. Workshop Times 11:00 AM - 12 Noon - Youth Class (ages 5-16) 12:10 PM - 1:10 PM - Adult Class (17 and over)
