Charlotte Craft Beer Week Returns October 18-27, 2024
The Queen City’s craft beer scene is "lager" than life with a burgeoning brewing community that’s grown to 60+ breweries in the region. This week, the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) salutes the brewery pioneers who blazed our local craft beer trail and celebrates a major driver of visitation during NC Craft Beer Week (October 18-27).
Breweries boost local businesses, create welcoming gathering spots and offer a place to explore with guests. Charlotte hosts over 32 million visitors annually, and notably 40% rate craft beer as a reason to travel. The nine-day craft beer celebration features 12 flagship offerings with an additional 110 general events ranging from movies and live music to bingo and trivia, and from yoga and run clubs to several pet adoptions. With Halloween on the horizon, pumpkin ales, costume contests and fall celebrations round out the offerings. Find a full list of beer-related events here.
