Played on Saturday (before heading to Quail Hollow for the President's Cup) and was truly impressed with design and course conditions. The elevation changes are quite dramatic and the views breath-taking. The Fairways are narrow at places, requiring precise shots from the tee to avoid running through the dog legs and into the woods. The greens hold well and putt true, bearing in mind the grain. Can't say anything about the bunkers (managed to avoid them), but they look nice. Be sure to play from the "correct" tees for your age and/or skill level to full enjoy what this course offers.

Awesome experience and friendly staff. If you live in the Charlotte area, I suggest you make the trip down south. You wont be disappointed. Tree lined fairways that are wide enough not to be intimidating and great elevation changes that always make it seem like youre playing downhill. I will definitely be back.

If you are a golfer new or old this course is great. Wide open and challenging at the same time. The pro shop staff is bright and cheerful. The rangers and the starters are very nice and fair. My Flags & Fins guys and I had a great day. Can't wait to come back!!!!

I flew from Canada just to play this course. This was my third visit and Mikhail Young made our trip completely worth it. His knowledge, advice and expertise was second to none. This is one of the most beautiful and tranquil golf courses you will play. Outstanding value for your money. I will definitely coming back!

I have played here a few times over the past year or so. The first two were great especially for the money. Now it is just as pricey as everywhere else which is understandable but not when they are overbooking tee times. When you pay over 60$ for 18holes you shouldnt have to wait on groups in front of you and have groups waiting behind you the entire day. Took 5 and a half hours to play 18 without a stop at the club house. I understand a courses need to make money but overbooking is unacceptable. I hope they stop doing it cause it is a good course.
