Sunset Hills Public Golf Course
Extremely cheap rates so I didnt expect much, but for a $30 round for 18 w/ a cart, its definitely worth it. Front nine is very easy but the back nine somewhat balances it out. Course conditions were good; No complaints about greens, fairways were a tiny bit muddy near rough, and tee boxes were a little Messy but still good. Overall a good course and an amazing deal. Definitely playing here again
Great, reasonably priced course! Staff was friendly, course was in good shape and although a bit smaller, the course was challenging. I will definitely be back.
Friendly staff. The fairways were maintained very well. I don't recall seeing any highly noticeable dirt patches in any fairway, which is good. The tee boxes need work. A few tee boxes are sloped, many tee boxes have dips where the ball is noticeably above your foot. Other than the tee boxes the course is in good shape. Pace of play is good, as is course layout.
Jeckle & Hyde. Front 9 short and too easy, back 9 is pretty difficult and long. Course is not well kept. We will not play here again. I suggest Charles T Myers (18 holes) or Charles L Sifford (9 holes excellent for walking) if you want to play an inexpensive municipal course in Charlotte.
I have played this course around 20 times. It is not the best course in the world, but it is appropriately priced and a good value. It is generally easy to get a tee time and things move along better than other public courses in the area. They have good twilight rates. The greens are really good this year.
