Frank Liske Park

It's a nice park, long trails for walking. There's a lake in the middle of the park. I enjoy seating here and looking at ducks and geese. There are a lot of squirrels. Also you can find places for barbecue and sport areas as well. You can spend a lovely day with your family there.

This is such a beautiful park with a huge open space for many activities. We were able to reserve one of the Pavillions for several hours for our event and it was perfect. Since this area is used for shows and performances, there are benches running across that we were able to use for additional seating for those that did not bring their chairs.

On a hot June day we wanted to give the kids a place to play outside in the Concord NC area. Upon arrival at Frank Liske Park we quickly found the play area. With the high June sunshine the sunscreen over the play structure was fantastic. After playing on the play structure they moved to the nature playground. Here concrete turns into a giant worm balance beam, a honeycomb is a climbing structure, a cave with crystals as a tunnel. Logs are set up for a fort. Overall the kids had a fun hour of play before we had to leave. They was still a lot let to see but our time did not allow. One thing to be careful of is the poison ivy in the wooded area by the nature playground.

One of our more recent favorite parks to visit. Lots of trail walking and variety of parks for smaller and older children. Has duck feeding stations as well. Nice walk around the water. And, if youre into geochaching have a few of those there as well.

This was Concord's best Park in my opinion but some vandal burned down the barn at the top of the hill a couple of years ago. It still has a lot to offer, large pond to fish at, multiple playgrounds, mini golf (note, it is very basic) and lots of sports fields. The reconstruction of the barn is beginning (it's June 2, 2022 now) and I am excited to see it completed, hopefully this year. I wanted to share the sign that shows the design and share that thr playground is also closed at the top of the hill. Go to the nature one instead since there's lots of shade.
