Romare Bearden Park
Off street parking is so inexpensive. Don't waste your money on parking structures. Even during especial events like the 4th of July fireworks. In recent years, with the baseball games in that Knights stadium, you can comfortably watch the fireworks from this park. It gets pretty crowded so have some patience. It's worth it. It gets pretty hot because of the pavement and lack of mature trees so beware. Bring some sunscreen! There are a couple of shops within 5 minute walking distance. It's a nice place for a picnic. I've seen a couple of beautiful small party setups. So consider it for future celebrations. I would suggest parking at a CATS park and ride and getting on the light rail if there are multiple vehicles, to save on parking fees.

A very beautiful area to sit and relax in the heart of Charlotte. Placed just across the street from Truist Stadium, this is where you go to enjoy the fireworks! But come early, it gets packed quickly. There are a few restaurants nearby, including Ivy and Ink which are extremely popular. Parking Garages are easy to find and within 3 blocks of the park. This is the perfect park to enjoy the summer, while still enjoying a city vibe.
This is a great park to relax, read a book on a bench, and for a special occasions you want to remember try a professional photo op! I am not sure if you have to obtain a license to do so, but I have seen it done beautifully. Nice art displayed ad well.
Nice green area in uptown Charlotte. The table and chairs are a nice feature especially during lunch hours since you can grab food from many places close by. The park however is not super clean. It is also not well policed.
It's a lovely park with statues and waterfall. There are benches for people to rest, also you can seat on the grass and enjoy the view. It's not a big park, but it locates in the center of Charlotte and you can see skyscrapers from here. Especially its wonderful at night time. I definitely recommend to visit it.
