After a long search for the perfect sofa, my parents found one they could agree on at High Cotton. The sales person was patient, accommodating and efficient in helping them make the right choice. They waited about a 3-4 months only to be disappointed with the Vanguard product. Having ordered from that manufacturer, I knew that they make quality products (color of the nail heads should be consistent, piping should be not be crooked, the feet should align with each other etc.). The sales person, insisted he could not help us and thankfully referred us to the owner, Rodney. After following that protocol, things immediately turned around. Rodney was the ultimate professional and expedited the process of contacting the manufacturer and whilst keeping me and my mother informed of the progress. Upon review of the photographs of the sofa, the manufacturer decided that the product passed its quality control standards and the issues were within the parameters of those standards. Rodney politely offered to reimburse us for the full cost of the sofa and the delivery/return costs (which was to be absorbed by his company). At first, I was very uneasy with the idea of being stuck with an expensive ($2600+) substandard piece of furniture, but once Rodney began communicating with us and handling our calls, I knew we would be taken care of. Although it was not an ideal experience due to the unusual quality issues with the product, I thought Rodney handled the situation beautifully and the refund was received in such a timely manner. Thank you Rodney!

Excellent customer service and care - through no fault of theirs, when my couch was delivered, the fabric had multi-colored thrreads throughout even though the fabric sample showed only one base color. Rodney and Dianne immediately let me know that they would work to resolve the issue which was incredibly calming and unique in this day and age. I have always loved their showroom and selection and am thrilled to add that their customer service is top notch as well!

Terrible experience. Ordered a table and was told it would be ready in 4 to 6 weeks. The table finally arrived after 4 months. Was told they have no control over construction delays. I never received any updates on the delay until I contacted the store after 8 weeks. No one from the store ever reached out to me to explain the delay or update on the delivery. I had to initiate every contact. This is horrible customer service for a high end store. I received better service from Havertys. Wont be back. Update. Matthew the manager just sent me a very sarcastic email to my personal email thanking me for my one star review. Shouldnt a organization want to make my experience right rather than harassing me.

I bought a leather sofa, two chairs, a reclining chair, and ottoman and three counter stools. Service was exceptional and the options were seemingly limitless. They even stayed open past their normal business hours to make sure we were happy with our selections.

The customer services from the associates on the floor is lame. I go in looking for help with refurbishing my pillows for a couch I bought there. I was asked to bring in a pillow. The fabric is discontinued so instead of helping me find a match, the associate sends me (the non-professional) to fend for myself and come up with my own match in their fabric department. Of course I do what I have to and I pray it works out. Well see. Since they are the only Vanguard vendor in Charlotte, Im at their mercy.
