Uptown Farmers Market

A pretty good market in the center of the city. The quality of the vendors are variable. Some vendors sell expensive goods, some sell great products that are cheap. They have great cheese and good fresh vegetables in this place. Support your local farmers! Parking is free during market hours. Place is clean.

I love coming here. I get some of the best bread Ive ever had, great local chicken and beef, and delicious in-season fruits and veggies! Also, the homemade pasta is incredible and very close to grocery store prices! The vendors are all very kind and you can tell they really care.

The home made chicken sausages were a bit on the pricier side but it was delicious and worth the price. On the other hand we one bunch of bought long beans at one of the vendors and they charged us 4$ and something , which was a bit much I thought. They had different vegetables and stuff but nothing that my local asian store didnt have . Plus it was very crowded. The flowers stalls were very pretty and overall gave a nice touch to the market.

We went to this farmers market for the first time last weekend because we wanted to try Sumbucha. I wasn't looking forward to attempting to find free parking uptown, but I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad with Covid early on a Saturday morning. I was pleasantly surprised when we got there and I found out that the market has dedicated free parking and plenty of it! The market was really awesome. It's set up nicely for lots of social distancing. They have one way signs posted. It's not too crowded. There are some really cool vendors too. We got some kombucha from sumbucha and some Indian street food from Angry Nani. I wanted to get some Magpies but didn't realize you need to preorder now. Verdant Bread was also there which I've heard great things about. It's every Saturday from 8am-12:30pm. Go check it out!

Always a great experience here. Wide variety of vendors. If you have ebt or snap they double your money so you can purchase high quality local grown/made goods. Spread the word if you can.
