This place is AWESOME! Soon as u step in the feeling of nostalgia overtakes you. They have soooooo much to chose from, stuff you have heard of and maybe stuff you havent. They often do free old school movie showings in the cave. I went for Saturday Morning Cartoons and they provided free coffee, cereal and little pastries. So glad we have a local place like this.
Long term customer, but worked with VisArt on an event for the first time this weekend and they did an amazing job. We rented the Microcinema for a party and they really knew how to make it special. The staff was really thoughtful, coming up with themed components and events throughout the night. The venue is cozy, affordable and just a great place to screen a movie and have some fun with friends.
Friendly movie people in a video rental store that will bring back great memories. If you re looking for a movie there is a very good chance they can rent it to you. They also have a screening space in the back where they have scheduled events. You can reserve the space for parties.
This place is so dope! Very friendly and helpful staff walked me through their whole setup, and patiently answered all of my questions. They have an insane catalog of movies to rent, many of which I didn't even know existed. The mini-theater in the back is an awesome feature, and definitely looks like it could be a good time with some friends. I wish their blu-ray collection was a little bigger, but they depend mostly on donations, so I get it. If you ever want to relive that nostalgic feeling of picking up physical movie cases to plan your movie night, this time capsule of cinematic history is a CLT hidden gem!
We often go here to rent movies; great place. We recently rented the back theatre space for a small movie gathering. Very attentive staff. Loved that we could go next door to the ESL Cafe for drinks. You can only order food from locally owned restaurants on that strip, which is great, bc we only eat out at locally owned restaurants. Highly recommend checking out this Charlotte gem
