If bars had personalities, **Petra's** would be that effortlessly cool friend who knows every underground band *before* theyre cool and somehow still remembers your drink order. Tucked into Plaza Midwood like a well-kept secret, its equal parts neighborhood hangout, live-music haven, and late-night storytelling lounge. The patio feels like a backyard party hosted by someone with excellent taste in playlists, while inside youll find an eclectic crowd that proves Charlottes weird side is alive and thriving. The drinks are solid, the vibes are better, and the music lineup ranges from Ive never heard of them to Im about to tell everyone I discovered them here. Its the kind of place where you come for one beer and leave three hours later with new friends, a new favorite band, and a vague plan to start your own.

Best small venue I've ever been to. Extremely intimate setting, good drink prices (energy drinks available too!) Beautiful outdoor patio in the back to relax before the show too!

amazing little bar and music venue. we come here for jazz nights on mondays. the mezcal contain on tap is also incredible.

With the Potions and Pixels event we had a blast and the bar served awesome drinks. I would recommend dropping by for the events there as the atmosphere there is pretty laid back and open. I added images of what went down for me personally.
