Food is only OK, not bad though. We had the pig in the garden salad and ribs. The roles that you get are always really good and they're honestly my favorite thing here. My one complaint is that I found a hair in my side of baked beans. ****Updated 10/14/2021 I have been going back the past couple of months and things have improved! The cheese rolls are still delicious and the ribs are also good. Cole slaw and potato salad are my favorites (specifically the potato salad). I am giving them an extra star!

Where do I start. The front desk person at our hotel recommended this establishment and he did not stir us wrong. The value for what we were served was great. I believe we were served cornbread and cheese mini muffins, which were off the hook. The ribs and chicken were good and the Mac cheese was awesome. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anybody passing through or as a must go if you are in the area.

This place is awesome. The staff are jovial and very kind - even the manager drops in occasionally to joke a bit. But you don't go to a resistant for the laughs. There isn't a big variety on the menu, but everything on it is the best there is. I don't even know what to recommend; it's Sophie's choice. And save room for dessert, every one of them is poetry on a plate. I'm partial too their pecan pie but it's seasonal and you can only get it around September usually

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, I feel like the quality has gone down a LOT in recent years. The menu has been trimmed down considerably, but with the pandemic still going on that's understandable. The quality of the food, not so much. The beef brisket is mostly huge globs of inedible, unrendered fat & the actual meat typically has more of the same running through it. With the BBQ, you're more likely than not to receive huge, chewy chunks than good pulled pork. The sweet tea, the mac & cheese, and the biscuits (if they remember to give them to you) are still very good. It might be worth going to if you're willing to gamble on whether or not the food will be good today, but, like with most gambling, you're likely to lose.

Food & service was excellent. We ordered the loaded baked potato and it was so enormous and filled with good stuff. The brisket and catfish were both great. Definitely going back
