Lula Banh Mi & Bakery

Quite tasty!! Our little family enjoyed a macaroon, beef stew, roasted chicken sandwich, and a cold cut sandwich. The bread was very nice! Delicious. The egg roll / lumpia, best I've ever had, excluding my mother in law. I mean this in the most complimentary way. These little rolls are made with love. Lots of meat with less veggies. Just right crispy. Incredible. The macaroon was quite nice, best we've had in North Carolina! More of a take and go place, which was a surprise, but we did make use of the tables out front.

If youre in the Pineville area, you need to try Lula Banh Mi! This is a locally owned family run place. The bread and pastries are baked in-house and are so good! I came on a Sunday right before 1pm and there was no line, but by the time I was done eating, it was packed with customers. There were a lot of Vietnamese customers which is a good sign! I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee (very good), a grilled pork banh mi (very good) and Vietnamese beef stew (just ok, will not order again). There isnt much seating, just a window height bar with four stools and two tables outside.

So good! I got the egg rolls and pork banh mi. Egg rolls were made fresh and they reminded me of the ones my Vietnamese coworker makes for me. They were hot, crispy, and flavorful. The banh mi was extremely delicious. Even my husband thought it was good and he's a super picky eater. Next time I'll ask for extra cucumber, but that's just my personal preference. A must try!!!! Update: came back a second time once I realized they make their baguettes from scratch so I could fully appreciate the food. Some how it's better the second time around

Everything I had was so delicious. The cold cut classic Bahn Mi, the spring rolls, and the grilled pork & egg roll rice dish were amazing! Definitely give this place a try, I highly recommend it!

Love me some good Viet cuisine. Quick fast fresh quality foods conveniently located across from the Carolina Place Mall. Not to mention delicious sweets baked and made to perfection. Their drinks are also super yummy. Ive had their watermelon green tea and Vietnamese coffee and loved both. Cant go wrong with anything you order here. I definitely think youre better off getting your macarons here than Amelies. Their banh mis hit the spot and their noodle egg roll plate hit as well. Their egg rolls are chefs kiss with thin layers to make for an extra crispy fresh bite each time. Love that its family owned and they always have good music playing. Such a beautiful mural and cute decor. Much more love put in each item on the menu than other places. Well worth every penny!
