Machu Picchu Peruvian Cuisine & Bar
The best Chicken, yucca and plantains 300 miles around, I pray my son gets another soccer game in town to visit this place again.
Delish authentic Peruvian food! I had to try the "leche de tigre" the bomb! Also had a "tamal" and wow superb! Seafood fried rice was similar to Asian fried rice which I was ok with, but a little disappointed with hunting for the baby seafood. So next time I'm getting the "lomo" . Our server was friendly and so patient with our questions about the dishes. She knew them all! Dbl check your recite cause for 2 of us they automatically added 18%gratuity. O well, I would of left 20%.
The food at this hidden gem is delicious! Nothing I've had has disappointed! We've had seafood fried rice, steamed fish, seafood soup, frozen natural fruit juice (mango is absolutely amazing like they dropped a whole mango in the blender), fried yucca and a mussel appetizer... Everything has been fresh and full of flavor!... My next visit/review will contain photos! Trust me and try it you won't regret your visit!
The food was good but it doesn't blow your mind. The jar of passion fruit juice was very nice. The waitresses were attentive and the food didn't take too long to be ready. Something we didn't appreciate that much is that an 18% of service was included in the check; we try different restaurants often and the only case were we knew before hand about an extra charge was where the party had 6 people or more, the tip was already included, but this time it was the service, and then they suggested the % tip. We were only 3 people and the place was empty, didn't really understand why 18% of service. I liked the food here but the 15 munute drive and that 18 is not worth it.
I was there today, this is not a Lomo Saltado this is just French fries! Not even cilantro on the top, $23 the plate! Insane!! Customer service really bad! Not anymore
