The setting was cozy and visually appealing. The vibe was busy yet welcoming. Menu is a bit limited, and food on the pricey side for the portions, but the Gooey burger was quite tasty and very well-prepared. The fries are crispy and meaty inside. Two people in our party got the bag of fries which comes with tasty toppings that you pour into the bag and shake. Those were crisp and savory with the garlic & cheese. The waiter was very attentive, though they were a bit busy. Overall, it was a good experience for something new to us but I'm not sure we will return. The appealing setting may be enough to draw us back. The aesthetic there is quite inviting. They also have vegan options which is a plus for those who care to partake.
My overall experience at this location was nice. The restaurant's location is great minus the parking. From the hostess, my waiter, the food and drinks were all superb. Me and my mom dined outside minus the rocks, picnic tables, heat, and bugs it was a nice setting. This restaurant has a yummy healthy spin on it's food. I would like to visit again and try the igloo feature in the winter time, and maybe I'll catch some entertainment too.
What a gem! Our dinner here on 2/23/2021 was such a wonderful experience. Every staff member was a dear, every bite was a surprise in the best of ways, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We did an early dinner with two kids 5 and 8, who declared it to be their new favorite. Some of the winners for us were the Parmesan Bag Fries, the chicken entree, the sweet potato, and for me, the beans and rice (holy cow so good). Every menu item was simple but crafted in such a way that it was like trying something for the first time. The ONLY menu item that we didnt finish off, were the Brussels, but that could be a preference thing, as Asian style Brussels arent always our favorite. With a menu that will change seasonally, we will be sad to potentially see some of our new favorites gone next time we make it down to this little Charlotte gem, but were so excited to try anything that comes from this kitchen. Make sure to buy a round for the kitchen staff, they earn it!

Great atmosphere, the outdoor sitting in the back is great. Good service. The brown bag fries are awesome. The lobster Mac is smoky and tasty. The honey butter with bread they serve is very tasty. Burger tastes really good. The red devil could use some more devilish side to it :). The pickles on the sandwich were perfect. Egg salad toast was perfect! Would def return to try other items. Wine/drink menu is really good.
Unfortunately I CAN'T RECOMMEND this place...What a shame too because we were so excited to try this place out and it's a beautiful setup. Due to location parking is very limited and mainly street or paid parking. Service was atrocious not only did she forget a lot she basically refused to clear empty dishes unless we put them in her hands and told her to. The food was mediocre at best. The shrimp was not good, the burger was so plain and overcooked not worth the money. The cookie was good but came frozen which was not what we expected since that wasn't on the menu description. The salad was good the shake your own fries were actually pretty good but then again it's hard to mess up some fries... The other desserts weren't good. Our server had no problem rushing us to pay her but took over 30min to bring out our 1st drinks. We will not be returning after that dreadful experience. Too bad too because some of the food looked good but didn't taste anywhere near as good.
