We've had great experiences here both times we've dined. A big draw for us is the expansive outdoor seating that Goodyear House offers. We sat in an outdoor igloo which provided some privacy and space away from other diners. Be aware that there is a $25 donation to a non-profit that is mandatory with igloo seating. This last time Kenny, our bartender, took excellent care of us as he did double duty in serving us in the igloo and managing the bar. He provided excellent drink suggestions and was personable and helpful. The food was again very good; all four of us in the party enjoyed the appetizer, entree and desserts that we ordered. We look forward to returning next time we are in Charlotte.

The Goodyear House was a great spot for lunch. The back patio was very cute and comfortable. The best part of the meal was the fries. I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing. The food as pretty good but I was expecting a little more. I would like to try there again!

The service was amazing!! The food was spectacular, from the starters to the entrees. The cocktails were great too. We sat in an igloo and the experience felt nice and private. We loved having the heater and the ability to open the igloo up. Overall loved the experience and would definitely return!!

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. Did an open table reservation for 5:30. We were seated outside at one of the large picnic tables on the property situated most south of the main building. Bottle of wine was reasonably priced. Summer Squash was rich but delicious. Chicken sandwich with option for bag o french fries was good and filling. Nice butter bean spread and fall veggies small plate appetizer was a nice surprise. Staff was great including Logan who took good care of us. Will go back. Plenty of eats and we did not break the bank. Back again 10/15/21. Julie was our server. She was informative, professional and made our experience special.

What a gem! Our dinner here on 2/23/2021 was such a wonderful experience. Every staff member was a dear, every bite was a surprise in the best of ways, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We did an early dinner with two kids 5 and 8, who declared it to be their new favorite. Some of the winners for us were the Parmesan Bag Fries, the chicken entree, the sweet potato, and for me, the beans and rice (holy cow so good). Every menu item was simple but crafted in such a way that it was like trying something for the first time. The ONLY menu item that we didnt finish off, were the Brussels, but that could be a preference thing, as Asian style Brussels arent always our favorite. With a menu that will change seasonally, we will be sad to potentially see some of our new favorites gone next time we make it down to this little Charlotte gem, but were so excited to try anything that comes from this kitchen. Make sure to buy a round for the kitchen staff, they earn it!
