The atmosphere was really nice. My group sat outside and despite the humidity we all seemed to feel good with all the fans going. Drinks were exceptional along with the food. I had the crab cakes and gnocchi. I would gladly get again.
Great items to shared around the table. Bit of a hipster beverage vibe but it was cool. We had the tuna, different flatbread pizzas, pork tacos, skirt steak, and some cheese and meat platters and it was all fantastic. This is a really great place to hold a conversation with a group. Not too loud, but felt private at our table. 100% recommend if you are looking for smaller more refined sharable items.
I had the pleasure of eating here this week with my daughter, and to say the least, I was blown away. For starters, my waiter Jon was incredible. He was attentive, recommended various amazing dishes, and was ever present when we needed him. Should you eat here, do yourself a favor and ask for Jon. Aside from the impeccable service, the food was incredible and tasty. Literally everything we ordered off of the menu, from the wine to the steak, was some of the best I've had in Charlotte. Sizable portions at a very fair price point. Highly recommended!
It's a very cute restaurant, nice atmosphere. It was a little loud but it's probably due to my group having a meeting and we were right under the speaker. Parking is a little bit of a walk if you don't catch a spot on the street. As for service, our server was very rude. Not knowing he was our server, I requested an additional chair and was met with "you need to wait". I guess that set the tone for the night. I'm aware that it's tapas but the 4 of us at the party all ordered at the same time. All 3 of them received their drink and was about done before he decided to bring mine which had watered down. He proceeds to tell me "its just the melted ice". Next... I order a medium steak and another ordered a well done steak. All 3 others received their dishes and finished and I'm still sitting. This server didn't come over to check to see if everyone food and or drink was OK or if we needed anything and the fact our table is 10 deep and I'm there still with no food mattered not. I eventually had to request from the bar a manager who came and rectified the situation but it wasn't a moment earlier did this server decide to show some interest in our table. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed to be having a pleasant experience but then again we were the only of melanin professionals. Maybe it had something to do with it, maybe not but it left a horrible taste in my mouth
Surprisingly nice place. The food was good and not terribly priced, and the outdoor dining area was very beautiful with a koi pond in the center. Only complaint is that there isn't much parking, but that's not their fault, just something to be aware of if you're going to go.
