Chef Shai Fargian
Chef Shai Fargian began with a vision to expand the palates of Charlotteans by introducing them to authentic, thoughtfully-crafted Mediterranean cuisine. Originally from Israel, Shai’s cooking lessons began when he was a child, where alongside his grandmother, he learned techniques and flavors still present today. Fargian has worked with celebrity chef Avi Bitton as well as renowned restauranteur David Burke. YAFO Kitchen has grown to three Charlotte locations.

The list of bar concepts Colleen Hughes oversees is almost as long as the accolades she’s received for her innovative cocktail creations. Hughes was crowned 2021 Mixologist of the Year in NCRLA’s Chef Showdown, while Supperland, the bar she currently tends, landed on Bon Appetite’s 2022 10 Hottest New Restaurants in the United States.
