Comfortable airport - just the right amount of shopping and restaurants so you don't feel like you're in a shopping mall. Easy to navigate if you have a close connection; you can get to any gate in about ten minutes. Really friendly and relaxing!1
What I like the most about this airport is that there are so many people movers! This is one airport that I feel that I can have a short time between flights and still be able to make the next flight even if it's on the other side of the airport. There are lots of food and shopping options all throughout the airport if you do have the time between flights.

Not a bad airport. Kind of big and not a lot of flights for United Airlines available. American Airlines is King here, but it is very modern. Also, got lucky that at my terminal there was a Panera. So they have, good food options. Also, chargers were available at the seats and they have a reusable water bottle refill station. Also, stop by to take a pic on the white rocking chairs.
Ive never had a worse experience at an airport then at Charlotte and Ive traveled all my life. The construction at the Charlotte airport has people going on 10 minute walks to their next gate. That is no 10 minute walk... its more like a 30 minute walk and exhausting!! They dont have people movers except for men driving wheelchairs around for the disabled.
Normally would give you more stars because the terminals themselves are pretty nice and easy to navigate however the amount of people traveling through has grown faster than the airport can handle. Also, what is up with the smoking rules? As of now there is only one far off place to smoke and apparently it will be banned on all airport property soon! Come on now, this is North Carolina! Even San Francisco let's you smoke outside! Get over yourselves!!
