3 Fast-Paced, Family-Friendly Events at 600 Festival

Speed into May as the 600 Festival throws a month-long party to celebrate the two races that take place in Charlotte: Monster Energy All-Star Race (Saturday, May 19) and the Coca-Cola 600 (Sunday, May 27).
For more than 30 years, the nonprofit has helped the area embrace the spring NASCAR events at Charlotte Motor Speedway and has entertained thousands of fans with exciting and family-friendly events located around the Charlotte area.

Big rigs and beach music take over the 600 Festival in Concord on Thursday, May 17 with the Haulers on Union Parade and Fan Fest presented by Freightliner. For the best view of the parade, grab a spot on Union Street and catch a glimpse of your driver’s hauler as they head to Charlotte Motor Speedway to unload and prepare for the All-Star Race on Saturday, May 19.
Check out the Fan Fest before and after the parade for a free party in the streets with activities for children, food trucks, giveaways, race cars on display and concert by The Tim Clark Band. The evening is sure to entertain fans of all ages.
Little 600
Tuesday, May 22 at 5–9 p.m.
GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville

The 600 Festival will pick up speed Tuesday, May 22 when the Little 600 takes the green flag at the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville. Cheer on your favorite NASCAR driver and catch them in a different setting, battling each other for bragging rights in GoPro Motorplex go-karts.
Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola
May 24, 25 and 26 from Noon–8 p.m.

Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola will keep the action hopping in uptown Charlotte May 24-26 with live music, show cars, interactive displays, autograph sessions with NASCAR drivers and race-car simulators.
Each day starting at noon, festival attendees are invited to Uptown Charlotte for Speed Street, where everyone is welcome to enjoy vendor displays, kids activities and racing-related fun until 8 p.m. Then local, regional and national headliners will take the Mello Yello stage (Trade and Tryon Street) and Coca-Cola stage (Romare Bearden Park) starting at 6:30 p.m.
To see the shows at the Coca-Cola stage, tickets are $25 in advance and $35 the day of the show. Here’s the concert line-up:
- Thursday, May 24: Reaves, Jaggermouth, Judah & the Lion
- Friday, May 25: Travis Denning, Easton Corbin, Chase Rice
- Saturday, May 26: Lindsay Ell, Brett Young, Dustin Lynch
