1st Ward Social Bar and Lounge
Neighborhood: Uptown
Whether you’re a guest of the Homewood Suites by Hilton on N. College Street or not, stop by this new lounge for craft cocktails and small plates. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite before or after an event at Spectrum Center.
Bonnie & Clyde’s Lounge
Area: South Charlotte
Get that Uptown-upscale feel in South Charlotte at this nightlife hub at Promenade on Providence. The food menu includes dishes inspired by all parts of the world, and the drink menu features specialty cocktails, wine and bubbles. Entertainment is provided by live musicians or DJs, depending on the evening.
Culinary Dropout
Neighborhood: South End
Elevated comfort food can be found at this spacious restaurant and bar in the Vantage building. The menu features build-your-own boards, salads, sandwiches and entrées plus weekend brunch and a long list of cocktails. Private dining spaces are also available to rent.
The Dumpling Lady
Neighborhood: South End
The Dumpling Lady, which originated as one of Charlotte’s favorite food trucks, opened its second location. The South End menu features pan-fried dumplings, new Sichuan dishes and a new vegetarian/vegan noodle dish that differs from the Optimist Hall location.
The Fox & The Falcon
Neighborhood: SouthPark
Celebrity chef David Burke opened a new venture in SouthPark. This modern steakhouse features prime-cut beef, seafood and Burke’s signature Clothesline Slab Bacon, a staple at his restaurants, as well as lobster dumplings and a thoughtfully curated wine list and craft cocktail menu.
Le’s Sandwiches & Cafe
Neighborhood: NoDa
One of Charlotte’s favorite banh mi shops is back open in a new location after being closed for almost a year. The original owners have passed it on to their son and he offers the same beloved sandwiches topped with Vietnamese mayonnaise, pickled carrots, daikon, cilantro and fresh jalapeños.
Midwood Smokehouse
Area: Airport
Get your barbecue fix before your flight at Midwood Smokehouse’s new location at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Concourse B. You can find many popular menu items along with plenty of seating. Grab-and-go options will be added in the near future.
Mr. Charles Chicken & Fish
Neighborhood: Uptown
Fill up on fried chicken and all sorts of soulful foods at this local restaurant’s third location. The new spot has plenty of seating and plans to offer live entertainment. Longtime fans of Mr. Charles’ restaurants claim this is the best-fried chicken in town.
Pie in the Sky Pizza
Area: Mooresville
A Mooresville pizza shop that’s been in business since 1986 now has a new home. Pie in the Sky is still offering its signature pizzas plus a few additions, like calzones and meatballs. Get your pizza fix via dine-in, carry-out or delivery.
Savannah Oyster Co.
Area: Mooresville
Fresh fish and seasonal offerings are available at this raw bar restaurant in Mooresville. The ‘70s-inspired vibe and Southern hospitality will whisk you away to the coast. Savannah Oyster Co.’s “pond-to-plate” menu offers the freshest seafood, whether wild caught or farm raised, every time.
STK Steakhouse
Neighborhood: Uptown
Known all over the world, STK Steakhouse now has a home right here in Charlotte. This upscale, traditional steakhouse offers an array of steaks plus larger plates, starters, sides and items off the raw bar. An in-house DJ, which all STK locations are known for, will bring the tunes and all the vibes.
Sunflour Baking Company
Neighborhood: NoDa
Sunflour Baking Company opened its newest, and fifth overall, location in NoDa. The bakery offers all your favorites, from muffins and cookies to sandwiches and cheddar biscuits, along with the bakery’s popular cake jars. Exclusive to the NoDa location is Detroit-style pizza.
SupperClub
Neighborhood: Lower South End
Enjoy fun and games, plus good eats and drinks, at this new entertainment and dining complex. Highlights include eight duckpin bowling lanes, air hockey and pool tables plus a menu with Southern, French and Italian influences. SupperClub could be the spot for your next big event, too, as the venue holds up to 500 people and can be sectioned off into private areas.

Treat yourself to milk bread, cloud cakes, pies and all sorts of pastries at the third Charlotte-area location of this French-Asian bakery. Pair your favorite goodie with an iced matcha, ube latte or coffee drink of your choice.
