The level of service and attention to detail provided by Gabriela and Nick is exceptional. As a person with many years of customer service and hospitality experience, I know what outstanding service looks likeand they exceed expectations. The cocktails are absolutely incredible. The 1923 cocktail should be their signature drink; its that good. The fried calamari steak with its delicious sauce is unforgettable, and you cannot leave without trying the crab confetti appetizer. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere and dcor are on another level. Whether youre planning a romantic date night, meeting friends, or simply unwinding after a long day at work, this is the perfect place. Sit at the bar, enjoy a glass of red wine with the incredible short ribs, chat with the bartender, and soak in the fantastic music that perfectly complements the experience. When in doubt, ask for Gabriela and Nick. They are knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to recommend the perfect drink or appetizer. Absolutely loved our time at Runaway Whiskey & Wine! From the moment you walk in, the design and decor set the tonemoody, intentional, and effortlessly luxe. Even the hallway to the bathrooms felt elevated and thoughtfully designed. The entire space gives a true speakeasy vibe. Pair that with delicious drinks and great friends, and it made for an unforgettable night. This spot is a must!

Runaway Whiskey is a true hidden gem in Charlotte that delivers on food, cocktails, and service. The custom cocktail program is exceptional, with the espresso martini flight standing out as a must try. Creative, well balanced, and clearly crafted with intention. The food is just as impressive, from the deviled eggs and tuna tartare to what is hands down the best spinach artichoke dip I have ever had. The burger with bacon jam is unforgettable, and the truffle fries are outstanding. Every dish feels thoughtful and elevated without being overdone. Jordan and Jameson provided friendly, attentive service and clearly take pride in their craft, which elevates the entire experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for standout cocktails, incredible food, and a polished yet welcoming atmosphere.

My girlfriends and I had an exceptional experience at Runway this past weekend. Firstly be aware that the entrance to this establishment is at the rear of the building. The signage was a bit confusing but once found it make sense.the inside was so posh and comfy. Patrick, our waiter was very nice and also provided the drinks. Everything was delicious and well thought out. I would highly recommend!
