Cuzzo's Cuisine is an absolute must for quality Southern cooking. The shrimp, hot wings and lobster mac 'n cheese are crowd favorites that will always satisfy comfort food cravings.
Cuisine Type: Soul/Southern
Cuzzo's was a pleasant surprise. 1. The dining room was vibrant and clean with a small bar and several TVs. 2. The food was really good. We got the peach cobbler with fried chicken wings and also a chicken combo with Mac and cheese and collard greens. All of the food was tasty. We also ordered a strawberry banana pudding. The pudding was underwhelming. Our bill was almost $60 so it was a bit overpriced in my honest opinion. 3. The wait times are very disappointing. We waited for our order for over 30 minutes. If we go back to this location we will make sure to call ahead with our order. 4. Definitely stop by and give them a try, just expect a wait.
The young lady at the front counter was very professional and sweet! Great Customer Service! Food was HOT AND FRESH! OVERPRICED! The food was flavorless! The sauces weren't good. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was decent. The drink were terrible! (BOTTLED) I hate to say that but I don't recommend!
I've ordered from Cuzzo's SEVERAL times, through Doordash, Uber, pick - up, and slick dined - in (walked up, ordered, waited). Let me tell y'all - THEY DON'T MISS!! The customer service is always chill, they make sure you are good with your order, they suggest if you aren't sure, and they know they offer a lot of options so, they allow you to take your time. They had a few drink specials, wish I would have gotten one at the bar while I waited. I will next time The prices are decent - it's comparable to what's out there, considering all of your food is made fresh to order - but you can tell they aren't trying to skim off the top, they are pricing according to the quality so, do what you gotta' do to save up or whatever but it's worth every penny!! I started "dressing it up" so I took a pic before I added the hot sauce. It was over after that so, my bad but here's what you can expect (I ordered the fish, shrimp, and lobster Mac combo). Tell em' KC sent you (then they are gonna ask 'who is that??') Show em this Google review and give em their flowers!!! Keep up the good work y'all!!!
I decided to give them a try after seeing the owners on WSOC #Action9 news. I went at a time when it was literally no one there (4pm). The host was very helpful & friendly.. I have to say I was unimpressed with the food tho. I ordered the fish with collards, rice & beans. These items had to be purchased A la carte which brought the total over $20. The fish was flounder (only type available) and it was mostly breading. The rice & beans were pretty good. The collards were too sweet for my taste. Food out of 5! FYI I like a lot of hot sauce on my fish
If I could give the food a zero I would. I paid $21 & change for 10 wings no sides not even fries. Fries are $6 extra the wings were fried so hard they bordered on burnt. I could have broken a tooth. I did not request fried hard, but even if I did this was well past fried hard. Literally fried the moisture out of them. The wings are also completely flavorless. Dont let the pictures fool you. They dont taste like anything I promise. The $6 fries come with about 6 pieces. These people are essentially charging $1 per fry lol. All around waste of money. The employees are polite, but I wouldnt ordered anything from here even if it was on free (I obviously had already stated eating the cod by the time I took the photo)
