Eat & Drink
Ace No.3
Neighborhood: Uptown
You can now snag a burger at this local favorite’s new Uptown location. It’s hard to beat The Ace with its two patties, American cheese, grilled onions, house pickles and Comeback sauce, but feel free to build your burger as you like. Don’t forget a milkshake to pair.
Krazy Curry
Neighborhood: Uptown
You may know this Indian-Nepalese restaurant from Pineville. Now, get a taste of your favorite curries and more at their new Uptown location. Krazy Curry offers an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet and an a la carte menu for dinner. Come hungry, no matter when!
NADC Burger
Neighborhood: Uptown
When a restaurant only serves one burger, you know it’s got to be good. NADC, created by professional skateboarder Neen Williams and Michelin-star chef Phillip Frankland Lee, is now open at The Alley at Latta Arcade. The signature burger features two 100% wagyu beef patties, American cheese, secret sauce, pickles, and “tamed” jalapeños.
Oh My Soul on The Moo’ve
Neighborhood: Uptown
NoDa’s vegan restaurant now has a second location, nestled on the ground floor of the Ally Building. The menu features grab-and-go plant-based sandwiches, salads and wraps plus smoothies and coffee drinks. Make sure to grab a dessert for later.
PoppyCox Nashville Hot Chicken
Neighborhood: Optimist Park
After several years on the road as a food truck, this Nashville hot chicken shop now has a permanent home as a food stall inside Optimist Hall. Diners choose a chicken sandwich or tenders then decide “how hot” they want to go, ranging from “Not Nashville” to “Stoopid Hot.” The concept is simple, but the flavor is delicious.
PopUp Bagels
Neighborhood: Ballantyne
Wildly viral PopUp Bagels has opened its first Charlotte location at The Bowl at Ballantyne. This bagel shop keeps it pretty simple, offering five bagel flavors served hot and fresh with tubs of schmear and butter for dipping. Schmear flavors rotate on a weekly basis to keep you coming back for more.
Raahi Art of India
Neighborhood: South End
An Indian restaurant quietly opened in the Design Center complex in South End, with plans to celebrate a grand opening later this fall. On the menu, you’ll find everything from naan and samosa to paneer tikka and butter chicken.
The Salty

Charlotteans can now enjoy The Salty in South Charlotte thanks to a new location at The Bowl at Ballantyne. This shop offers craft doughnuts and signature coffee drinks and recently launched an extended line of breakfast and lunch items.

Stock up on South Asian groceries at this new market. Guests can also stop by for a meal as the food court offers classic Indian dishes, chai, boba tea and more. Soon, a large space for private events will be available for rental, too.
