Divine Barrel Brewing
This place is very nice. Parking maybe limited, but worth it! Here at Divine Barrel they love brewing all sorts of different and unique beers, so youll always find a little bit of everything when visiting our taproom. However, there is a special place in our teams collective heart for wild and sour beers. In fact, our real focus lies in building and developing our barrel and foeder program that grows with us over time and lets us share our passion and excitement for wood fermented and wood-aged beers with the Charlotte community and beyond.
As the air rips through the horn of a passing freight train, a deep rumble fills the hall and the conversations pause for a few moments. A bead of condensation rolls down the side of the ale in front of you, sparkling in the golden hour as the sun starts to hide behind the rising Silver Line. You can taste the craft and wisdom in it's proportions, not trend. You take another sip. Damn, it's good. It's really good.
The brewing scene in the Queen City gets another boost as this divine crafter makes its mark with a solid West coast IPA and an out of this world Berliner Weiss. Great venue and close to the newest Lynx station.
Great little place. 8 beers to taste when I came. No flights, but 5 oz pours which is just as good. Friendly service and very knowledgeable about the beer. Enjoyed the atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, love the plants hanging from the ceiling and the folky band that was playing. Expected more than one sour on but the one that they had on, Blackberry Gose was pretty tasty and the color was fantastic!
