We had a 3 hour wait. They offered the bar once someone got up. We ended waiting an 1 hr and a half. We got a bar seat. The food was good. My boyfriend thought it wasn't worth the hype. I had the banana foster French toast and Sweet and hot chicken with French toast bites. The chicken is very tasty. Nice crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on inside. The best of all was the starter which was the pumpkin beignets .....
Excellent food! Louie, my server, was awesome as well! Great conversation and let me know what to try next time I visit. Also gave me some tips for some things around town.
I had the French Toast Bites and the Grilled Fish St. Peter and both were AMAZING. The Bites were small little bits of bread like croutons but had a glaze over it and the most incredible "syrup" sauce ever. Never had anything like it but it has a praline flavor. The fish is served over a crispy fried Grits slice and I about cried at how good this was. The fish was cooked perfectly, the sauce poured over was great (not spicy...I wish it was) and was too good for words. I love the atmosphere and my waiter was great (he was attentive just the right amount). I can't wait to go back.
The food was !! There is a bit of a wait for the restaurant, so it's best to go online and get on the wait list while you're getting dressed then drive there, but trust me, the food (and the friendly staff) are worth the wait. : 5 out of 5 stars
My daughter found this place. And I'm glad she did. The food was amazing!! The atmosphere was great!! Our server Jasmine was awesome!! And we were seated before the big crowd came! Definitely will be going back!!!
