The owners of Seoul Food Meat Co. and Let’s Meat have opened a new concept featuring wings, tacos, bao buns and lettuce wraps. Don’t forget a side of kimchi fries.

Loyal fans of Choi’s Korea & Wing are thrilled to know that this longtime restaurant, which closed its doors in October 2021, is re-opening under a slightly new name. The family’s youngest daughter, Minae Choi, will offer classic Korean dishes as before plus trendier options and soju, a Korean liquor. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this beloved spot.
Hours: Thursday-Sunday, 3-11 p.m. (dinner) and 2 a.m. (bar); Closed Monday-Wednesday.
This Uptown bar and restaurant closed its doors at the beginning of COVID-19. Two years later, they’re back in business. Come for dinner with a group of friends (the dishes are all shareable) then stay for a night of dancing. You’re bound to have an amazing time.
Classic and unique pies alike will be available at this new shop at the Charlotte Visitor Info Center. You’ve probably run into this couple-owned scratch-made pasta pop-up at farmers markets across town. Now you can find them in The Market at 7th Street selling fresh and dry pasta, sauces, desserts and prepared dishes for the family. And don’t worry — they’re still setting up at the markets, too.

The space formerly occupied by Civetta is now home to a new Tap & Vine, which got its start in Indian Trail. The menu includes classic dishes like Lamb Chops, Chicken Marsala and Fish & Chips, and, on Sundays, they offer a brunch menu from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you’re a wine drinker, make plans for a Monday visit while select bottles are half-price all day long.
